The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) focuses on the study and development of computer-based system, including those developed for Internet application. The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology is intended for students desiring to become IT professionals, network specialists and software developers, who are globally competitive, internationally certified, and imbued with knowledge and skills in high-end programming, software application and development, network installation and administration, and multi-media based World-Wide Web development.
The Computer Studies Program envisions students to:
- have undergone training in abstract and analytical processes;
- have developed personal and social values;
- have acquired technical skills;
- be grounded in appropriate concepts and principles; and
- be adaptive to the work environment.
